The driving force behind my art practice is to journal my thoughts, feelings and experiences but also explore themes that viewers can relate to. Sometimes they are momentous experiences in life like moving countries or battling cancer. Other times they are the everyday experiences, the small but poignant moments.

Artist statement:
I drew this artwork 2 weeks after submitting a collection of 47 artworks for my first solo exhibition titled, 'Mid-sentence'. After spending the last 3 years developing this large body of work, I found myself feeling a little lost and contemplative. “After finishing a marathon, I ask myself what’s next?”
